Monica At The Noble Awards

Monica showed up for The Noble Humanitarian Awards yesterday evening in Los Angeles. Babyface, Laila Ali, Morgan Freeman, Jennifer Hudson and many others were in the buidling. Monica closed the show with “Still Standing” after Babyface was presented his award for his charity “Stand Up To Cancer“.

Monica also shot a commercial for “Stand Up For Cancer“. They raised 100 million for research and the commercial features Mary J. Blige, Mandy Moore and many others fighting this disease

One of the first signs of Monica’s returns is that she is always on the news stands. She recently appeared in 2 magazines, Black Hair & Sister 2 Sister. They are on your local news stands now! The Black Hair is really just talking about Mo’s hair styles (go figure) but the Sister 2 Sister is a really good read! Check the scans out in the gallery.

July 26 – Monica filmed the last part of her reality show, “Still Standing”… I have to tell y’all the new album takes us back to “Just one of them Days”…. Its off the chain… She sang her heart out and the show is going to be something unlike any other reality show out right now… These are pictures from her close and intimate concert for her fans and friends, including her good friend Mia X (the only female member of No Limit).

Mo said “I just wanted to thank everyone for all the love everyone gives me, a lot of celebrities get it twisted and forget it’s the fans who make them”… That is such a real statement… Monica’s new album is currently scheduled for release in November 2009, following the debut of her album her same-titled reality series, directed by James DuBose will premiere on BET October 27, 2009. Zone 4’s 2 Year Anniversary

The other night Monica hosted Polow The Don’s record label, Zone 4’s, 2 year anniversary. They were taping for her new reality show and did some other things but you have to watch the show to find out.
